Lilia Philipov is a dedicated and results-driven Team Captain at KAR Group, with a proven track record of success in the retail industry. She holds a Business Management diploma from ICS Canada, where she gained valuable knowledge in management essentials, human resources, operations management, business planning, organizational behavior, communications, and managing financial resources. This educational foundation has equipped her with the skills and expertise to excel in her current role.

Lilia’s professional journey with Domo stores began over a decade ago as a gas bar attendant. Her exceptional performance and commitment to excellence were quickly recognized, leading to her promotion to Store Manager within a month. In this role, she demonstrated her leadership abilities by increasing store sales by an impressive 156% within a year and maintaining top service scores in Edmonton. Her achievements further led to her promotion as an Area Supervisor, where she oversaw five stores and achieved notable accomplishments in cash control, sales contests, and overall performance.

In 2020, Lilia joined KAR Group as a Multi-Site Manager, overseeing 13 Domo stores in Edmonton. She focused on maintaining store cleanliness, organization, and controlling shrinkage and ordering to boost store margins and C-store sales. During the challenging COVID-19 period, Lilia’s leadership was instrumental in keeping stores operational at full capacity by prioritizing local hiring and ensuring the well-being of her team.

Lilia’s personal achievements, including becoming a mother of a handsome boy named Liam and providing a larger home for her family, further highlight her determination and commitment to creating a fulfilling life both personally and professionally.
